These are some of my favorite pieces
Stylus Holder, Three Versions
This is the first custom item I made for someone else. I especially love it because all three versions worked perfectly, and are slim and elegant.
Stackable Organizers
I have a few of these stacked under two different sinks. They’re just so darned useful! I added custom tops and sides to this magnificent stackable base where needed, creating stackable accessory boxes.
Paintable Magnolias for a Wedding
Each flower has a unique petal arrangement, and they are made of multiple carefully assembled pieces. The reward of seeing them in a bouquet made up for the number of hours spent drafting, designing, printing, then repeating the process til I achieved a working model. I’m extremely happy with the outcome.
Stable with Removable Roof
My first building, I like it because I made it by looking at photos of a real stable. The roof is a separate piece and honestly never printed well, though it taught me a great deal about designing roofs, learning I was able to apply in later models. We used the stable for gaming, and it was great. I included it because it looks exactly like the real stable from the photo.
Container for 6 inch Packets
This piece was my first foray into better design, though I didn’t know it yet. I made rounded edges so people wouldn’t get scratched, so product wouldn’t tear, not because it printed better, as I hadn’t learned that yet. It’s attractive, and comfortable to handle. We still use the same one today that I printed over a year ago.
Decorative Lightswitch Covers
I gifted one of these decorative outlet covers to a friend who admired them, and she sent back pics of it painted, in her kitchen. I already loved these because they turn something flat and useful into wall art. That my friend thought so too gave me incredible satisfaction, and I think about that when I see the ones up in our home.
Sunflower Heads
This sunflower head was the result of my first try at Tinkercad’s Codeblocks, a program that offers a block-based program of Javascript possibilities. I have a couple of later projects where I used AI to help model things in Codeblocks, but this and my other daintier flowers are the results of human experimentation.
Temple in Salt Lake City
After my success with the stable, I thought I’d try something a little different. It lacks the detailed wood paneling of the earlier building, but it more than makes up for that in window and tower detail. I’m proud of the work, because it’s a gorgeous and good representation of the actual Temple.
